Relabeling blanks
How brands make a stock blank their own (neck prints, woven labels, hang tags), what US labels must say, and which shops in our directory offer label services.

Relabeling is how a stock blank starts to feel like your product, and whether to do it at the printer or yourself is a common question [source]. The main options:
- Neck print: printed inside the neck, usually with size and care info. It's cheap and done in the same print run. It works best on blanks with a tear-away or removable label; check each blank's listing.
- Woven or printed sewn label: your label sewn in at the neck or hem. Costs more and needs a shop with sewing or finishing services.
- Hang tags and packaging: no change to the garment, but they help with presentation.
What a US label has to say
In the US, textile products generally need a label showing fiber content, country of origin and who made or is selling it (a name or an RN number), plus care instructions. If you remove the original label, the replacement still has to carry the required information. The FTC's business guide covers the details [source]. This is a summary, not legal advice.
